Covid-19 will push many people to the edge. In Belgium, getting help is very expensive and not covered by social security or insurances enough. People with few means, regardless of their history, should be able to get help when they need it. They should have the right to trip and fall and get a hand to pick themselves up with dignity. They should not be abandoned by a system that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do.
I do as much as I can to make the world a better place, to respect my core values, to try to give my kids a place where they find solidarity, compassion, support, generosity and the absence of judgement.
Unfortunately there is a limit to what I can do free of charge all by myself.
